Visiting Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa

Visits to Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa are by appointment only.

Should times need to be amended please email, text or phone Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa as soon as possible. You will be contacted closer to the time of your booking to confirm. Please note the last appointment for Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa is 3pm.

If you are going to be late please be no more than 15 minutes late. Unfortunately, after the 15 minutes the appointment will expire, and another appointment will need to be booked. The missed appointment will be charged for.

Please ensure your pet is suitably restrained, when brought to Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa, by use of a lead for dogs, or secure pet carrier for cats and smaller pets.
You will be given a time in which to collect your pet after their grooming session, and will receive a text message to confirm collection. Please do not arrive early to collect as this can upset your pet and makes it very difficult to finish the groom.

Health and Medical

All pets brought to Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa should be fully vaccinated, with worm and flea treatments up to date. Any fleas found on your pet (if alive) will incur an extra charge of £10 added to the final grooming price.

If your pet is in a matted state and needs shaving off, as stated in the Animal Welfare Act 2006, you grant Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa permission to do so. There may be an extra charge added to the final grooming price.

Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa will not be responsible for any accidental death of your pet(s) due to the nature of any pre-existing health condition. We also will not be held responsible for minor nicks resulting from the grooming of matted, neglected coats or for irritation caused by removing coat from any pets possessing mild to severe skin allergy, nor will we be held responsible for stressful effects that grooming may have, particularly on elderly pets.

You agree that if you cannot be contacted in an emergency Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa will seek medical advice, where needed and contact our own vet. Unless it can be shown that Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa are liable all costs in connection and in carrying out this instruction will be at your own expense.

You certify that you are the pet’s owner and have the authority to execute this consent. You accept responsibility for the fee quoted and agree to pay this on collection.

You the customer will notify Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa on your each visit, of any information changes regarding the condition or health of your pet, or your personnel details.

If requesting a flea treatment Dulverton Lodge Pet Spa is unable to apply vet prescribed treatment. Either Fleascreen Combo or Frontline Plus will be applied in consultation with you and cannot be given within four weeks of any other spot on treatment. Dulverton Lodge cannot be held responsible for any reaction your pet may have to treatment. In extreme cases you may purchase a Capstar tablet to take home for an additional fee.
