I have always worked hard building a career in education. Working up the ranks from a trainer, to teacher, curriculum manager and then a team manager at a Local Authority. Whilst I loved teaching and it was extremely rewarding at times I have always had a passion to work with animals.
In December 2016 I moved into a three bedroom house, and what charmed me about the property was the large garden area to the rear. At the time it was an overgrown wilderness, but I could see the potential.
Following a conversation with a friend the seed was planted of running my own cattery. After a lot of hard work and dedication it is here! The Animal Welfare Inspector and the Council official were very impressed with the build and were more than happy that Dulverton Lodge would meet the needs of its guests.
