It is important to vaccinate your pet, particularly cats, as they may be prone to certain infections and diseases. Cats need protection from cat flu (FHV, FCV), infectious enteritis (FPV) and leukaemia virus (FeLV).

The booster provides you with peace of mind that your pet has certain immunity and prevents them from passing on infection to others.

You may start your vaccination programme for kittens and puppies around the age of 8 weeks old. Rabbits can be vaccinated as young as five weeks old. If you have an older pet who has never been vaccinated, or their treatment has lapsed you may need to start the course from the beginning (primary vaccination).

If you plan for your cat or dog to stay at a cattery or kennels, ask your vet for a vaccination card.. You will need to provide this when booking their stay.
